All attendees must register and receive a conference badge in order to participate in conference activities. Online registration will remain available throughout the duration of the conference and registration fee payment at the registration desk is not possible.
Authors Registration Policy
The following author’s registration policy applies.
- At least one author per accepted paper must register and pay a Full Rate registration fee.
- A single Full Rate registration can cover up to three ISIT papers and three ISIT Workshop papers in which the registrant appears in the authors list.
- An IEEE Life Member registration covers one ISIT paper and one ISIT Workshop paper in which the registrant appears in the authors list.
Please note: At least one author per accepted ISIT paper must be registered by April 17, 2026, AoE. As described in the submission guidelines, ISIT 2026 requires that all ISIT papers be presented in person during the conference.
The following author registration policy applies to ISIT Workshop papers.
- At least one author per accepted ISIT Workshop paper must register and pay either a Full Rate registration fee or a Workshop-only registration fee.
- A single Full Rate registration can cover up to three ISIT papers and three ISIT Workshop papers in which the registrant appears in the authors list. A Workshop-only registration can cover up to three ISIT Workshop papers in which the registrant appears in the authors list
- An IEEE Life Member registration covers one ISIT Workshop paper.
Please note: If you are a Full Rate registrant of ISIT, please use the same email to register ISIT Workshop and your ISIT Workshop paper(s) after April 21, then the fee will be waived. All rates are listed in USD or CNY. You may select the currency you prefer. We will generate an Invoice for those who select USD, and respectively a Fapiao for those who select CNY.

Membership rates: Membership status must be confirmed with a valid membership number at the time of registration. In case of an incorrect membership status, the full non-member registration fees will apply.

- Workshop-only registration fees include: Chosen workshops on Friday, July 3, coffee breaks, lunch and conference reception on the day. You should choose at most three workshops to participate on that day. A single workshop registration covers up to three workshop papers in which the registrant appears in the authors list. ISIT 2026 will host eight workshops four of which are full-day ones and four are half-day ones. For more information about our workshops, you may visit https://2026.ieee-isit.org/workshops .
- Tutorial registration fees include: Chosen tutorial(s) on Sunday AM or PM, June 28, AoE, will include coffee break during the tutorials. You will have access only to the tutorial(s) you have registered for.
- Payment methods: Online payment or wire transfer. If you selected the currency in USD, it will use Paypal for the payment. If you selected the currency in CNY, it will use Wechat Pay or Alipay for the payment. If you select wire transfer, please go back to the system to upload the transaction details then confirm the order. Please also note that you may use your credit card through Paypal. Meanwhile, due to China’s Foreign Currency Exchange Regulation, our registration system can only use Paypal as the transaction interface.
- Cancellation and refund policy: Before June 15, 2026, AoE, a processing fee of $50 USD / ￥350 CNY will be charged; No Refunds will be given after June 15, 2026, AoE. All cancellation and refund requests must be made by sending an email to [email protected].

IT Society and Social Events
During ISIT 2026, the IT Society has scheduled a series of events that are open to all attendees but require registration so that catering can be arranged accordingly. Seats for some of these events are limited and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Details will be announced later.
Dietary Preference: During registration, please indicate your dietary preference. We are trying to provide diverse culinary options. Hence, all food services will include vegetarian option.
Non-Presented Paper (No-Show) Policy: Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to be presented at the conference. Papers that are not presented at ISIT 2026 by an author will not be published either in the proceedings or in IEEE Xplore®, unless the TPC co-chairs grant explicit permission for a substitute presenter in advance of the event. But it needs to be ensured the presenter is qualified including for answering questions.
Qualified Proxy Policy: The presentation of papers by substitutes is highly discouraged and may only be made after permission is granted by the TPC co-chairs, based on solid evidence that none of the authors is available to present. Papers presented by substitutes without permission will be considered as no-shows. To make such a request, please send email to [email protected] as early as possible.
Authors with Travel Restrictions Policy: Authors who anticipate an inability to travel to the conference because of a government-imposed travel restriction must notify the TPC co-chairs with proof of their restriction. Each case will be individually reviewed, and options will be explored depending on conference resources. To make such a request, please send email to [email protected] by June 15, 2026, AoE.
Authors can request an invitation letter during the registration for obtaining a Chinese visa. The letters will only be issued to those who have completed registration, payment and uploaded the final manuscript. The letters will normally be issued in 48hours after the registration.
Non Authors can request an invitation letter during the registration for obtaining Chinese visa. Visa letters for non-authors will only be issued to registered participants who have completed the registration and settled the payment. The letters will normally be issued in 48 hours after the registration.
